The first shipment of 2017!
A great start to 2017 with our first shipment of the year to Ghana. A massive vote of thanks to all our volunteers and supporters who have made this possible. There were 38 volunteers there on shipping day to help load the container - despite the best efforts of the weather to put people off (cold, sleet and snow!). We loaded more than 400 computers, monitors, mice and keyboards, 46 printers and 18 boxes of books and catering equipment.
Our first container arrives in Malawi!
Our first container to Malawi arrives in Mzuzu. James Gondwe, our partner from the Centre for Youth and Development (CYD) in Malawi, gives us a tour and explains about all the work being done to unload the container, log the equipment as it is unloaded, test the computers and plans for distributing the >500 computers to schools.
