Reusing IT and The Turing Trust share a vision of reusing IT equipment to benefit disadvantaged communities, particularly in Africa and to protect the environment by refurbishing IT equipment. This extends its useful life, producing both energy and carbon savings.

We have had massive support from Ross Cockburn and his team at Reusing IT over the years – and earlier this year they reached a very significant milestone of over 3000 computers donated to The Turing Trust. Their regular donations have enabled us to scale up our projects in Malawi and give many thousands of students access to computers in their schools.
