Shipping to a landlocked country such as Malawi is difficult. It takes organisation and manpower, and travel by ship, rail and road.
Our amazing volunteers in Edinburgh have braved all weather conditions to pack the containers ready for shipping. The journey takes 6-8 weeks to reach Mzuzu in Malawi.
There are equally dedicated teams in Africa who unload the containers and check all the equipment before onward distribution to schools.
We refurbish IT equipment, install a range of educational software and provide it to those who need it most.
Your sponsorship will be recognised with a set of photos of the computers at each stage of their journey, information on the schools that have received computers as a result of your sponsorship and a certificate of recognition.
