OUR VISION IS A WORLD WITH TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED EDUCATION FOR ALL

The Turing Trust was set up by Alan Turing’s family to enable IT supported learning by reusing computers in classrooms globally. We provide skills development while reducing waste and contributing to an environmentally friendly society.

We refurbish IT equipment, install a range of educational software and provide it to those who need it most.

our global network

We have been delivering IT resources to schools globally since 2009. So far by reusing tens of thousands of computers we have helped over 252,000 students to gain digital skills.

Our Values

Equality

We believe in creating a world of equal opportunity. We must take an equitable approach in everything we do to help overcome structural inequalities. We will always go the extra mile in helping those most in need to overcome whatever obstacles they face.

Inclusivity

For us, honouring Alan Turing’s legacy means embracing diversity in all its forms. We believe that everyone should be valued as an individual and can be a significant force for change, regardless of visible and invisible differences.

Environment

The world currently faces the immense challenge of climate change. Therefore, we must constantly strive to lead the fight against global warming and sustainability must be at the heart of everything we do.

Impact

We believe that continually monitoring our work is critical to ensure that we are making a positive impact. In this way we must hold ourselves accountable and strive to increase the quality and quantity of our work until everyone can equally benefit from digital technologies.
