An estimated 40 percent of students in Ukraine are relying on online or hybrid learning due to ongoing conflicts. To ensure every student has access to the technology needed to support their learning, Reusing IT have been working to distribute computers to a number of primary and secondary schools across Kyiv.
Reusing IT is a Scottish charity that shares our vision of building a brighter future for people and our planet by refurbishing IT equipment, so when we were approached to support their work in Ukraine, we were more than happy to help.
With support from the Turing Trust and Ukraine Educational Initiatives Foundation, Reusing IT has now distributed over 2,000 computers to schools in Kyiv. These devices will ensure students across Ukraine receive access to much-needed technology to enhance their learning and develop new digital skills.
