We teamed up with Bupa to help supply the Hornchurch & Upminster Sea Cadets with upgraded laptops, desktop computers and headsets.

Here’s what Sandra from the Hornchurch & Upminster Sea Cadets had to say about the donation:

“The cadets and staff were thrilled with the donation from you. It means that the unit’s outdated equipment can be replaced with more up-to-date systems which will allow the cadets and staff to access online courses and lessons within their corps structure.

The laptops and desktops will be for cadets to use for the cyber / computer tech courses, presentation work and promotion board preparation work for the senior cadets, such as session planning and research, to allow work on their advancement portfolios.

In general, they will be put to use for situations where cadets will need access to such devices but may not have themselves or may benefit from having computer resources available.
