Schools in sub-Saharan Africa to receive used computer equipment from the Scottish Government

James Turing was on hand to receive a fantastic donation of 1,000 computers and accessories from the Scottish Government. This donation, delivered to our premises in Newbridge by a team from the Information and Technology Services (iTECS) Division, will enable thousands of students to learn digital skills, whilst reusing these computers will significantly offset carbon emissions.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Scottish Government to benefit schools in sub-Saharan Africa and are grateful to Gordon Macdonald MSP and Ben Macpherson MSP, International Development Minister for their continued help and support.
